How do I add a vehicle to my auto policy? What will I need?
You have the option of adding a vehicle via our customer service website or by contacting our customer service department.
What you will need
1. The year (i.e. 2008), make (i.e. Ford) and model (i.e. Taurus SE) of the vehicle.
2. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Hint: If the vehicle is 1982 or newer the VIN must be 17-digits. The VIN will not contain the letters I or O, these letters must be entered as 1 or 0.
3. If the vehicle is leased or financed, we will also need the name and address of the financing or leasing company.
Please log into your policy using the Username and password you created under the Self Service Center located at www.21st.com. If you have not created a Username and password you may do so by clicking the link titled Need to set up online access? Or if you have forgotten your Username and password please choose Need help logging in? Once you have successfully logged into your account, please select the Endorse Policy option that will appear on the Policy Summary screen. Select the proper endorsement and follow the instructions to add the vehicle to your policy.
Please contact our auto customer service department toll-free at 1-800-241-1188. Our auto service department is available during regular business hours in your respective time zone. Our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and website are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Please be sure to notify us within 14 days after you purchase a new or used vehicle. Even if the dealership states they will add the vehicle to your policy for you, it is still a good idea to verify the vehicle was added to avoid a coverage dispute in the event of an accident.
