What is covered under Towing/Labor Coverage?
If the towing were a result of a disablement (dead battery, broken fan belt, etc), the towing would be reimbursed up to the stated coverage limit if the towing endorsement applies to your policy. If the tow were necessitated because of damage sustained in a covered comprehensive or collision claim, the reasonable towing costs would be covered as a part of the comprehensive or collision claim.
The Labor Portion of the coverage will pay for labor performed at the place of disablement up to the amount shown on the Declaration page as applicable to that vehicle. Labor would include services such as hooking up the tow truck, bringing the insured gas, charging a battery, and replacing a fuel line. However, please note that it does not include the cost of repair parts if any. It also does not include coverage for locking your keys in your car as this is not a disablement.
