About the 21st Century Insurance College Scholarship Contest
The 21st Century College Scholarship Contest will reward 21 students for their volunteer or non-profit work in their
community, their town, or the world. 20 students will win prizes of $550 they can use for college. One grand prize
winner will win a $10,000 scholarship for college.
Entrants will be judged on their essay and photos. These items should tell the story of how you helped in your
community, your town, or your world.
We're looking to hear why you picked the organization you chose to volunteer with, what work you did with
that organization, and what you gained from the experience. With your photos, show who you worked with and who you helped.
Entrants must submit all required items by 11:59 PM EST September 30, 2012 to be eligible for the contest. Winners
will be notified on October 12, 2012 via email.

21st Century Insurance College Scholarship Contest Rules
In order to be eligible for the 21st Century College Scholarship contest, you must:
Be a full time student attending a four-year college or university on a full-time basis in the fall of 2012
Graduating high school students must have a cumulative four year GPA of at least 3.0 or the equivalent of a B average from their high school to enter
Current college students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 from their college to enter
Have fulfilled 40 hours or more of volunteer work between January 1, 2012 and September 30, 2012
In order to enter the 21st Century College Scholarship contest, you must:
Complete the online enrollment form above, in full
Send an email to scholarship@21st.com with your 250 word essay describing how you've helped your community,
your town, or the world through volunteer work
Attach one to ten photos of you participating in volunteer work to your email
Submit all forms by 11:59 PM EST September 30, 2012 to be eligible for the contest
Winners will need to sign a release, provide proof of their enrollment status and GPA. Additionally, winners must agree to have their pictures posted on 21st.com, the 21st Century Insurance Facebook page, and/or other 21st Century publications
Winners under the age of 18 must provide consent of and release by a parent or legal guardian
Here's what you could win:
The grand prize winner will win a $10,000 scholarship for college
The grand prize winner will be interviewed for an article on 21st.com
20 second prize winners will receive $550 scholarships for college
Photos from the winners and their first names will be displayed on 21st.com, and the 21st Century Insurance Facebook page
Winners will be notified via email on October 12, 2012
